Jellystone
This weekend we packed up the camper for another weekend Camping and Jellystone. Of course it was hot; so we swam a lot in the 4 pools/ playground/ pond they had. Ethan and I also went down the waterslides this morning. With 600 campsites there were a lot of people around all weekend.
Hannah playing in the kids area- zero entry pool and 18 inches of water; a good time for all the little kids
Carter had a great weekend- he would just yell and scream and run all over the place
He was also quite interested in all the Yogi Bear statues they had around the park
Looking for Yogi's teeth
He doesn't seem to have any either!!
Then all the kids found Yogi the next morning on our bike ride up to get donuts
Another big Yogi by the pond/ bridge. Carter really didn't want anything to do with this one and Ethan was hiding in the shadows (Hannah was trying to coax Carter closer but he wanted nothing to do with it)
Look close all 3 kids posing
Hannah running with Yogi; she was really into the pictures, the other kids just wanted to play
And I think we hit 4 different playgrounds around the park over the weekend; these kids played hard and slept well.
Running across the wooden bridge. Hannah and Aunt Kim didn't like the fact it was shaking so much
What a difference a year makes- check out Carter's picture on the side from last year; think it's time to update those!
Hannah at the last playground as we were driving out of the park this afternoon.
Hot Summer
It has been very hot, with no rain; so we've been swimming. A lot. Here I told Hannah to smile and she posed; Such a girl!
Mr Carter is not afraid of the water at all; he wants to be just like his big brother and sister
Finally got all 3 to stop swimming long enough to get one decent picture; then back off the dock they went
Ethan in action diving and swimming. Seriously we could do this all day everyday if we would let them.

Finally!!!!
Ok so it only took 21 1/2 months but we finally have the corner of Carter's first tooth poking through. And another one on the bottom just poking through (boo, my baby isn't a baby anymore). The deal Kevin made with me was Carter couldn't get a haircut until he got his first tooth (this deal was made about 10 months ago). Well the hair is getting kind of long and hot for him, so Grandma is coming over tomorrow to give him a trim (double boo, there really goes the last of my baby!!). So for all the worrywarts out there you can rest easy tonight, yes Carter really does have teeth!!!

Carter in May
Carter and sarah try to share a ride in the Cozy Coup; they usually end up getting mad at each other .
He really liked playing in the sandbox
What you looking at?
this feels so funny on my feet!!
And tastes even better in my mouth!!
Riding the pond Cozy Coup long before it was warm enough to actually take in the pond, but no one seemed to mind!

swimming, swimming, swimming
It went from rainy and cold to hot and dry; typical northwest Ohio. The pond finally warmed up and the kids want to do nothing but swim. Carter at times protests his lifejacket but he really has no fear of the water and will just follow the other two right into the pond
Running around having fun!!
Hannah starts swim lessons for the first time on Monday. she goes everywhere with a lifejacket but isn't too keen on getting her head wet. Hopefully the next 2 weeks will change that.
Ethan practicing his correct swim form in the background and Carter once again trying to see if he can get the lifejacket unzipped
Hannah modeling her Hula dora swimsuit. Last year she wouldn't wear it with the grass skirt; this year she won't wear it without. At least I could still find it!
And then they go from swimming to playing in daddy's pickup. She had herself buckled in the driver's seat and had Carter buckled in one of the carseats. Safety first. Although this was just before she got out and Carter was playing in the truck and locked himself in with the keys in the ignition- luckily the window was cracked open and he was able to get the keys and give them to us (he wasn't about to stand on the door lock again!). Good thing since the second set of keys is at the shop and it was pretty warm out.Toledo Zoo trip
Hannah was so worried about the bear being right there that he was going to get her!!
Even Carter took notice of the bear and was pointing out his eyes and nose as he was lying right next to the glass
We all wanted to go see the new baby elephant; not many kids, a short line and we got to stand there quite awhile.
