Happy 2nd Birthday Carter!

Tuesday was Carter's birthday so last Sunday we celebrated; monkey cake for the little monkey

Singing Happy Birthday

He's admiring the monkey's and picking out which one he would like to eat

And making a very big mess with his cake

He required a sink bath and clothes change before we could open presents.
Then Monday was Columbus day so the kid's and I went to the zoo and Bass Pro Shop for the day,
tuesday Grandma by the Shop took Carter and spoiled him all day for his birthday and then we stopped to get ice cream cones on the way home, he was so messy he again required a bath and change of clothes and the car seat cover had to get washed also. Pretty great second birthday for the not so little baby brother!!!

Playing in the Leaves

Trying to bury each other in the leaf pile
Where did Hannah go?
Making the pile nice and big again
Carter where are you??!!

Halloween at the Campground

Last weekend was Halloween at grandparent's campground. Here is Jessie and Skeleton with their buckets of candy

And here is how Carter spent the trick or treat time; he refused to put on a costume and promptly fell sleep as we started walking around. Party pooper!!

Camping

We bought a "new" used camper a couple weeks ago so had to try it out; we went over to Woodbridge in Paulding county a weekend in September. It was cold; but our spot was right behind the playground and there weren't a lot of people around. Perfect.
That's our camper over Carter's right shoulder- the kids love the bunk beds and I like the bathroom and kitchen (and can use a heater and stay warm when it was so cold at night!!)
PLaying in the sandbox
Got 2 of the 3 to pose for a photo
This was the only shot I could get of Ethan all weekend; going down the very dangerous slide.
Probably the last weekend camping for the year since it's almost time for Kevin to start his long hours. Welcome to fall!!!

The start of school

Ethan started first grade this year
Showing his first grade sign; he wasn't too keen on getting his photo taken at all
Carter just pouted on the first day of school that he couldn't go with Ethan and then pouted again on Hannah's first day of school. Poor third child, always left behind
And little miss Hannah started Preschool this year and we hear every detail of her entire time at preschool; even Ethan seems to be telling us more about school this year so far so good!!!

Hanging out at home

Hannah is our puzzle girl; we couldn't find her one afternoon and she was very quietly working to get the puzzle put back together
And then Carter tried to tear it apart
He then got ahold of the mixer while making brownies; what a mess!!
