Happy Third Birthday!!

Today is Ethan's 3rd birthday- we had a party last night and Ethan talked about his party for days before the event..... loved opening presents (he didn't care what was in them)
One of his favorite presents- a kitchen!!! Grandma found it used, which is why it has pink on it- he saw it before the party sitting in the garage, but he was still excited to get it for his birthday...

His tractor cake- which is red like daddy's tractors and his wagon full of beans...

He loved everyone singing to him- when did we get old enough to have a 3 year old???

Hanging out at home..

We've had a good week at home- Hannah likes to eat and sleep and when she is awake she just watches and listens to her crazy older brother running around the house- so far she's been a great baby. Ethan never wants to leave the house- I think he's getting used to mom and dad being home all the time......

Hannah in the bouncy seat- we made a new cover for it this week since the old one, after 3 kids and being stored outside, had seen much better days.....

Merry Christmas.....

We spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa Stevenson's house- with the woodburning stove in the living room, Hannah was comfortable and passed out most of the day....
Great Grandpa Stevenson got to meet Hannah

Ethan's most favorite present from Santa- he's only been asking for a train table for the past 2 months- he has refused other presents and even put presents back when we were shopping at Walmart because all he's wanted is a board with a train on it- he was pretty excited to see the table this morning.

He also got Toby (one of the engines) for his train table.

We had Christmas at Great Grandma Thomas' house on Christmas eve- Ethan makes sure Hannah is always around and goes home with him, but he's not too interested in getting his picture taken with her or holding her....

12/23- Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Fritz's- Jordan spend 2 days making Hannah a fleece blanket- here's a picture of Jordan, Hannah and her new blanket!!

Ethan can't wait any longer to open presents!!!

Maggie and Annie (Maggie's neice) stopped by to see Hannah for the first time

Welcome Hannah Riley Fritz

Hannah Riley Fritz born December 20, 2007 at 3:49pm-
she weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces and is 19 inches long
She right now has 2 modes- eyes wide open looking around or sleeping-
both are nice for now and we said Ethan has cried more in the 48 hours of her life than Hannah has-
hopefully it says that way :)

Ethan really likes his baby...... will post more later!!

SNOW!!!!!

I really liked the snow, although I didn't want to put on my snow pants, winter coat, gloves, or boots- once I got outside it was ok....
We tried to build a snowman- the one and only thing I really wanted to do in the snow- it doesn't quite look like Frosty, but the carrot and eyes make it look ok....
Even if it is winter, there is always mowing to do- but first I need to shovel the snow out of the way so I can push the mower.

Mommy taught me how to eat the snow- yummy!!!

More Miguel Birthday Party Pictures

Miguel didn't like us singing to him- I can't wait until my birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Miguel

We celebrated Miguel's second birthday Sunday- he wasn't too interested in everyone singing to him or in opening gifts, but I'm really into this whole present thing, although mom keeps saying baby, Christmas, then my birthday- since all the presents I get for the year come in one week, I can't wait for the end of December this year!!!

My Broccoli- good thing I can now get in the fridge by myself and get food out- who would have known a 2 year old loves broccoli?
Yum, Yum, Yum
Thanksgiving/ Grandma's Birthday/ Grandma and Grandpa's Anniversary was celebrating Saturday night, here is all the grandkids (minus baby Ruth) lined up at Grandma's counter....
Smile Jordan and Aunt Kim!!

I see something I want on Grandma's counter......
The Friday after Thanksgiving, while the rest of the county shopped, we got together with Grandma, Great Grandma, and Aunt Alison to make candy- here is Great Grandma and I rolling buckeyes- ok, I'm eating more buckeyes than rolling, but who's counting?

I'm helping Grandma make the Thanksgiving Dinner- I didn't stop eating all day- mom and dad couldn't believe I ate so much, I guess we just don't have the right food at our house.

Fixing the Tractor

I stole these pictures from Grandma and Grandpa's Blog- we are having camera problems and are trying to talk daddy into buying a new camera..... after spending so much time at the shop with daddy this fall, I picked up a few things, namely how to fix a tractor and what tools I need to get it working again.... it's amazing what kids pick up on.....

Working Hard...

Playing in my room- I hate mom taking my picture all the time, especially when I'm trying to get some work done....

Playing at home.....

We combine fish crackers at our house- then we can eat them right out of the combine.....
We made a bunch of stars out of all the leftover playdough colors from the Halloween party, then I smashed them and stacked the containers as high as I could..... I'm getting pretty good at counting things- at least mom's impressed by a two year old able to count 10 stars, big deal I've been doing that for months.....

Halloween Party

Today we had a Halloween Party for Ethan's babysitter friends and his cousins- here is Ethan and Miguel fighting over the car after their turn at the Pinata.
Micah and both Grandmas watching from a distance- probably a good idea.
Here is Cade (one of the babysitter kids) taking his swing at Spongebob- none of the kids could break it with the stick so they resorted to pulling the strings to get it to break....

Decorating their cupcakes and cookies- lots of sprinkles for all....

After painting the pumpkins, it's much more exciting playing with the tractors- we have some serious farming to do... this is Ethan with Gabriel and Grandma.

Putting all the halloween stickers on the paper getting ready for my party!!!

Trick or treat.... or Peak-a-Boo!!!

Finally in position... 9 or so weeks to go...

Just a small update on the baby... after I fell on Tuesday night (long story, having to do with a 3yr old nephew falling into the pond and then tripping over a stake and falling trying to get there) the baby became very active that night and by the next morning all the kicks were in my ribcage.... since I have an ultrasound machine in my office, I took advantage of that and got my belly scanned again- here is a picture of the baby sucking it's hand (head on the right, body on the left, little circle of a hand at the top). And we're not even going to tell you the latest guess of boy or girl because we have been told so many different things by everyone who looks that we're going to have to wait the 9 or so weeks until the baby is born. Ethan keeps asking when the baby is going to come out, and he always wants a sister (not sure if he really knows the difference)

Getting Apples.....

Last week we rode our bike to get apples- ok, mommy rode the bike, I just sat in the bike trailer taking it all in- I got to eat an apple the whole way home- with all the apples and the cider, there wasn't much room in the trailer for me!!
Sucking down the chocolate milk- we go through about a gallon a week in our house- I hope Kroger keeps having it on sale!!

Making cookies... and a mess

Sitting in the dump truck is the only way to truly watch tv- mom and dad just don't understand....
I was just trying to help mom clean the counters after we made the sugar cookies- I don't know why she got so upset but she made me stand there and not move and it took her two big bathroom towels to clean up the water from the counters, chairs and all the water on the floor running toward the stove- maybe it wasn't such a great idea to put the sink in the island....

I didn't eat all the cookie dough!!!

mmm, this making sugar cookie thing is a good idea- I wish mom would cook more often.....
