All the kids were very excited to help Alex open his presents and then play with them all :)

Alex had his first birthday party last night- he loves cake (and it wasn't even banana cake like his mommy promised him :)

We stayed at a hotel in Mount Pleasant last weekend so the kids could swim- Ethan just took off and swam up and down the pool. We got snowed in up there so had to spend another night at Maggie's house- the kids had a blast playing all night and our kids even went to bed at a decent hour (around 9pm- impressive if you know our kids at strange places- they have a tendency to stay up really late)

After about 10 minutes she found something to be happy about- standing on the toy box just like she knows she's not supposed to- she just waits for you to say something to her
And she kept trying to take it off- hated it. I think she's going to be a tomboy just like her mommy!
Let me start by saying Hannah hasn't been in a dress for at least 3-4 months- not since it's gotten below freezing (which was approx Nov 5th and we haven't really seen warm since then). So we haven't tortured her and even tried a dress. Well today I found a dress in her room and thought we were going to church, why not? She was fine with the tights, onesie and underpants. then I put the dress on.
