Making Hannah Happy

3 cups of popcorn later and she's ready to play now- hopefully we can hold off on that nap so she will sleep in the car the whole way to Mount Pleasant this afternoon!!
The little things that keep a girl happy

2 posts in 1 week?? Surprising I know. I actually have the day off today so Hannah and I got to bring Ethan to school. She was starting to have a meltdown by the time we left (terrible two's already??) and unfortunately didn't fall asleep by the time we got back home, so she was even worse. However, we found the popcorn left over from last night and she was immediately happy again.....

Chicago Trip

There was even an room to dig for dinosaur bones. After the museum we walked around the Navy Pier and then walked to the John Hancock building thinking we would eat at the Cheesecake factory (but with it being Valentine's day, there was no chance at getting all of us seating in under 2 hours). So we found a deep-dish pizza place and ate there. then headed back to Union Station to wait for the train. We had 4 exhausted kids by the end of the day who all had a good time. Next trip for us is to Mount Pleasant next weekend for a birthday party!
Then Ethan and Miguel took turns being trapped inside our building

Trying to build a skyscraper- all the adults were into it, the kids not so much....

As soon as we got to Chicago we took the bus to the Navy Pier and spent a good portion of our time in the children's museum (Ethan and Miguel would have spent longer playing in the waterworks section, but we finally talked them into moving on)

Yesterday we took Amtrak from Bryan to Chicago (the whole family). Here are the babies sitting with uncle Mark- the kids actually weren't bad at all the ride there and everyone slept the entire way back (leaving at 10pm Chicago time)

Columbus to see Mark

We got to play outside a little bit when it was warm out this past week- Hannah didn't make it too long before she fell in the mud!!
Ethan and Hannah trying out the new chairs we got while visiting uncle Mark- the church we went to was going to throw them away and then thought some families may want them!

Our real reason for going to Columbus- Power Show Ohio- we met up with Nick and Alex and had a great time sitting on all the tractors and mowers- we can't wait to go on the next vacation with you!!

2 weekends ago we went to Uncle Mark's house in Columbus to visit him. Everyone is sitting at uncle Mark's- this is a real exciting bunch!
