Our trip to Washington, DC... Ethan at the top of the Washington Monument looking out- "Ohhh, neat" is his new favorite expression.
Ethan on the airplane and looking out of the plane- he was a perfect boy on the plane- we couldn't believe it- we kept him occupied by feeding him the pretzels- one at a time, which took about an hour to eat the whole little bag- just in time to land- he just sat on my lap and looked out the window and never said a word- almost makes you want to go on plane rides all the time with a 1 1/2 year old!!
Kevin and Ethan at Ford's theatre- they both have some room to grow to catch up to old Abe.
Ethan wasn't too impressed with the White House- he fell asleep on our walk over there
Ethan at the Capitol (then him running away from us and never looking back- it's starting already!!) But we found a buckeye tree here and Ethan kept picking up buckeyes and putting them in our backpack- we ended up with quite a collection after he was done!!
We couldn't leave DC without a visit to the zoo on Sunday- of course Ethan loved all the animals. Overall, we had a great trip- Ethan was really good the whole time (except for the capitol tour) and we walked a lot and all were tired when we got back (and ready to go back to work just to rest!!)
