All the kids were very excited to help Alex open his presents and then play with them all :)

Alex had his first birthday party last night- he loves cake (and it wasn't even banana cake like his mommy promised him :)
Hannah wished she could just take off
We stayed at a hotel in Mount Pleasant last weekend so the kids could swim- Ethan just took off and swam up and down the pool. We got snowed in up there so had to spend another night at Maggie's house- the kids had a blast playing all night and our kids even went to bed at a decent hour (around 9pm- impressive if you know our kids at strange places- they have a tendency to stay up really late)
