Our Stay-cation

Hannah in the village outside the barber shop- she wasn't cute she was protesting going inside the building because the barber talked to her and it was close to nap time so she wasn't going anywhere near the inside of that building. We left soon after and went home for awhile before going back to grandmas and grandpas' campground and spending the evening with family and spent one more night at their camper.
And their favorite thing this time was feeding the ducks back at the pond- they had quite a following

Both kids sitting by the fire waiting for the pancakes to cook in the morning

Ethan's turn to be cute

Next we tent camped at Sauder's campground- the kids love it because they get to swim in the hotel pool and we can see the village.

Hannah was finally ready for a nap by the end of the museum and after filling her diaper in the middle of the movie- she didn't care about the camera anymore and Ethan was very excited because daddy bought him a real rocket to shoot off (we're still not sure if it was really for Ethan or for daddy but they had fun putting it together). He's been very interested in anything moon and rocket and space suttle related since visiting the museum and likes watching the NASA station- especially when they were showing the space station. But he says he won't be an astronaut because going that high for real is too scary for him.

Ethan at the controls of the space shuttle- he didn't have a chance to land the thing.

They have a little growing to do to be astronaut size

Our next stop was the Neil Armstrong Museum and Hannah continued to perform for the camera

Ethan got tired of the picture taking and told me to just take pictures of Miss Hannah as he likes to call her

Hannah and Ethan hamming it up for the camera

Then we drove down to Grand Lake St Mary's- we had read there was a toxic algae advisory and not to swim in the lake and once we got there we understood why- it was green. No floating algae, but definitely not what I want to be sticking my feet into. We got out, looked, and then left.

We spent the first night at Grandma and Grandpa Camper at the campground- it was nice and quiet there since no one else was around because it was during the week

This year instead of a big vacation we decided to just stay local and camp a few nights and see a few things around the area- Hannah blowing bubbles at the campground- her favorite thing to do!
