Carter turn a year old today- he is getting to be such a big kid, but still such a baby- he's starting to walk, but only takes a few steps at a time and often only with a lot of encouragement- in the past week he has gotten much better about the whole walking bit. He still has no teeth (so far the latest, as we felt Ethan's first tooth on his first birthday and Hannah had them way early- 10 1/2 months!!) and he says a few words but mostly just follows along with his brother and sister. We still need to work on sleeping through the night as it seems as though he's always awake from 4-5ish, not really awake and playing, more in that half asleep and whiny really annoying phase. Sigh, I know it's just a phase and he will start sleeping again soon. Otherwise he's a really good baby who just likes to go along with whatever we're doing- he's pretty content as long as he's with us. We're not sure where the last year has went!!
