We had been talking about taking Ethan skiing for awhile now and finally decided to take him last weekend. the weather was actually nice and sunny. Uncle Mark met us in Bellfountain for the day. Ethan loved skiing and was getting pretty good by the end of the day. The best was the whole time he kept saying skiing is awesome. He is the kid with the orange hat and blue coat going down the hill.
Making a pretty good pie and he was getting pretty good at stopping. Still had some problems controlling his speed and avoiding others skiers that had fallen, but he's getting better.
Going down with the instructor during his class- you can see the new bunny hill lift to the left- it was called the carpet and you just stand there until you get to the top. MUCH better than the old rope pulls from our childhood days that ruined your gloves.
And a picture of Ethan at the top of the big hill. after his lesson he wanted to ride the big lift to the top. With daddy and Uncle Mark on either side and mommy behind to pick him up if he fell, he did pretty good and skied a long time without wanting to stop. I think we were all more tired from helping him around than he was of skiing!!
